Val Thrasher excels at finding the emotional core of whichever story she is given to tell. She began her career assisting, and eventually editing, at Rock Paper Scissors LA where she cut campaigns for directors such as Peter Lindbergh and Lance Acord.
She later moved to Mad River where she edited campaigns for Coors, Honda and BMW, but her most recognizable work during that time was for the iconic “Mac Vs. PC” campaign, directed by Phil Morrison, which was named the best campaign of the decade by Adweek.
In 2012, Val joined Nomad Editing in LA where she’s since worked on award-winning spots for Facebook, Google, Target, Apple and Honda. She finds inspiration visiting museums, photographing street art and spending time with her family.
