Editor Suzy Davis hails from North London, born and raised. In Uni, she studied Italian with Film Studies whilst living abroad in Italy. She very nearly never came back. But she did, returning to work for London Weekend Television before eventually making the move into post production at Final Cut, where she began as a humble runner.

Trained as an Assistant under editor David Webb, Suzy quickly stepped out from her mentor’s shadow, and built a reel that earned her the Broadcast Judges Award for Outstanding Achievement as well as the Young Editor of the Year 2004. In addition to her commercial work, Suzy has also built a strong body of music video work through a fruitful collaboration with the inimitable Dougal Wilson. Her music video work includes promos for artists Benny Benassi, Dizzee Rascal and The Streets, and her commercial work for Sony Walkman directed by Somesuch’s Nick Gordon garnered her a Silver Clio for Editing.

After a brief interlude to have some kids, Suzy once again finds herself editing, mumming and loving both!
