Ruth is Assembly Rooms born and bred; she started her career as the in house runner, quickly moving to assist Sam Rice Edwards and Nik Hindson on their wide ranging projects. In 2012, Ruth became a fully-fledged editor, her first commercial for Durex won bronze at the British Arrows and paved the way for her to make an essential contribution to the expansion of the company both creatively and commercially.
Ruth has worked with major brands such as Chanel, Burberry, Nike, Sony, WWF and Breast Cancer Now. Her passion for storytelling through movement and rhythm has led to extensive collaborations with Jacob Sutton, from balletic moves for Lexus to silhouetted vogueing for Another Magazine, Ruth is skilled in extracting emotion and drama from the abstract. Her work for WWF and Breast Cancer Now has allowed her to explore compelling narratives in harmony with stylized photography.
Within her work, Ruth has always projected a unique, strong and powerful image of women, she intends to continue this ethos going forward in her career.
