Roberta Bononi
Roberta’s story as a Film Editor started in 2008 with Giuseppe Bertolucci’s ‘Officinema’ course on Film Editing at the Cineteca di Bologna. Moving to London in 2010, she has since worked on a wide range of projects, including; short-films, animated television series, feature documentaries, feature films and content/commercial videos.
She is currently editing the internationally distributed animated series ‘Robozuna’, produced by KidsCave Studios for ITV Global and Netflix. She is also co-editing the feature film ‘Macbeth’, directed by Daryl Chase for Screen Northants, with the support of BBC Children in Need. The latest short film she’s cut is ‘100’, directed by Emma Miranda Moore for the series The Stay, produced by Hearst/Hotel Carlton-Ritz, recently released on the Harper’s Bazaar online platform.
In 2016, Roberta edited the short documentary ‘Hell on Wheels’, which was selected at the Sheffield Doc Fest and at the BAFTA recognised; Aesthetica Short Film Festival. Recently, she has been nominated for Best Editing at Underwire Festival 2018 for her work on ‘SWARM’, directed by Emma Miranda Moore, the film was also part of the official selection at Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2018, and many other festivals around the world.
When not locked in her edit suite you can find her moshing at punk gigs, drinking all the wine and running around the park with her beloved Truffa dog.
