Melanie loves all types of story telling, but specializes in Comedy Dialogue. She has been editing commercials for over a decade in Toronto, working on brands including McDonalds, Winners, Walmart, Canadian Tire, Koodo, P&G, Mitsubishi and Honda. Her work has garnered various awards including a bronze Cannes lion and the Cannes Young Director award for Max Sherman.
Melanie has worked on comedy sketches for “Funny as Hell” with Jon Dore (Season 2 to 4), and “New Born Moms” with Aurora Browne (Season 2). She describes editing these as “the best way to explore a range of genres and edit styles while maintaining a healthy laughter”.
Outside of editing she is an avid traveller, loves stand up comedy, axe throwing and graphic novels.
