Heather liked writing poems and stories when she was growing up. She pursued journalism, but quickly got bored with it. When she got to film school and discovered editing it just clicked, it became the perfect way for her to tell her stories.

Heather is an NYC based editor specializing in high profile short and long-form commercial and branded content. Most recently, she’s done work with agencies like Grey, Publicis, Vice and Droga5 working on campaigns for brands like Pantene, Suave, Spotify and Under Armour. She’s collaborated closely with directors Charlie Mysak, Sassie Sealy and Alec Helm. In addition to commercial work, she’s also worked on a number of music videos and documentary films.

Heather is one to always be working on a creative side project. Her approach combines strong elements of humor, discipline and, of course, patience. Her twin sister, Heidi, is named after the story of a young orphan girl who moves to the mountains to live with her grumpy grandfather. Heather is a flower, and her mom always used to say “Heidi is where Heather grows.” During off hours, Heather is very likely upstate hiding in front of a fire with Heidi and the pups. She loves dogs, a lot, so canine related projects are always encouraged.
