Alice Trueman is a freelance film editor working across narrative, commercial and branded content, as well as music videos and promotional featurettes. She is fluent across the Adobe suite: editing in Premiere Pro, using After Effects and Photoshop for masks, animation and titles, and transcoding footage using Encoder.

As well as technical expertise, Alice has seven years experience as a script-editor under her belt and finds this deep knowledge of story structure and narrative arcs immensely useful in her work as an editor, whatever the brief. The transition from script to film editing came very naturally as she found many of the skills to be hugely translatable – people respond to great storytelling, across all kinds of projects, whether it be corporate, commercial or narrative work. Alice absolutely loves life in the cutting room and collaborates well with directors and producers to see a project finally realized.
