Sian Davies is an award-winning writer and director of television, film and commercials. Her most recent work includes directing Nowhere Boys, Wentworth and True Story with Hamish and Andy.  Previously, Sian directed the finale of House Husbands and set up and directed the first season of ABC’s comedy series, The Ex-PM. Her other directing credits include Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Offspring, Rush and Satisfaction. She was a director on the comedy/crime series Mr. and Mrs. Murder and also wrote one episode of the series.  Sian has written and directed several short films which have enjoyed extensive festival play worldwide. Her debut film Poetry, financed by Film Victoria, premiered at MIFF in 2007. Her follow up film Piñata, produced by Yaman Films, had its world premiere in competition at MIFF in 2009, and her VCA graduate film Blackout screened at Cannes and Clermont Ferrand.  In 2004, Sian was instrumental in setting up and directing the omnibus feature film project Little Deaths, written by Giula Sandler and produced by Jason Byrne. The film won Best Independent Feature at DigiSPAA.
