Nathini van der Meer is a freelance director and designer, based between Berlin and Los Angeles. Working in both the film and fashion industries, she developed a multi-medial and highly aestheticised approach to story telling. Her work ranges from fashion film and music videos to travel content and advertisement, evolving around contemporary topics and culturally-charged narratives, while always remaining closely linked to her visual sensibilities.
Van der Meer has directed content for international brands including Adidas, Noisey and China Weekly. Her work has been featured in major publications such as VOGUE, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, L’Officiel Hommes, Tagesspiegel, ELLE, i-D Magazine and Harpers Bazaar.
