Mary Fagot is a Creative Director and Director, with a sharp eye, a love for compelling stories and a strong belief in mixing high and low. Working as a CD for over 15 years with both musicians and brands such as Robyn and Google Play, she has also directed music videos, branded content and commercials for OK Go, YouTube and The Gap.

Currently working independently, she previously lead the creative team as ECD at digital production company Stopp, working on projects for Doritos, Converse, Nike and Acura. She has also lead an ongoing collaboration with OK Go, as the band’s Creative Director working most recently on the video The Writing’s on the Wall, Redstar/Macalline commercial and the band’s over-the-top live show production. All the while having a very good time.

Less recently, she was Creative Director for BBH Los Angeles, where her focus was on non-traditional communication for clients like Google and LACMA and artists Cee-Lo Green and Teddybears. From 2006-2011 she co-directed with James Frost as Blip Boutique, their production company focused on developing creative digital and video content for bands and brands including Radiohead, The White Stripes, Interpol, and YouTube. She was also Creative Director at several major labels including Capitol and Virgin, crafting the visual image of bands and artists like N.E.R.D., Fischerspooner, B.R.M.C., and Robyn.

She is also currently serving as Chairman of the Board for Machine Project, a non-profit space for artists to do fun experiments together with the public in ways that influence culture. Find out more at Machine’s new site (CD: Mary!)
