After releasing her debut LGBT short film, Nineteen (2015), on the film festival circuit where it screened at 20+ international film festivals, winner of Best Film & Audience Award Melbourne & Sydney Queer Film Festival, Nineteen was broadcast on national Australian television (ABC) and then distributed across France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Belgium via Outplay.
Meanwhile, Madeline’s commercial career has seen her work with leading brands in fashion, music, travel, beauty and food with a focus on strong storytelling and performance. Her advertising projects have taken her to Uganda to tell the story of the condom & HIV crisis, spend time with youths living with disability, travel to Los Angeles to dance with Maddie Ziegler (Sia’s dancer) and delved into the artistic sensitivities of Australian Hip-Hop. Commercially, her work is full of cultural significance as she strives to inject meaning into all advertising projects by pushing for ethnic, gender and sexual diversity both on and off screen.
She’s currently completing a documentary project about dance therapy based in New York City to support recovering drug addicts on their path to rehabilitation, while also developing her first feature film script.
