Lacey Duke
Lacey Duke is an award winning director from Toronto.
Her short films have screened at festivals in Germany, London, Canada and the Caribbean. After moving to the US in 2013, Lacey combined her love of music and moving images and focused primarily on directing videos for artists like D.R.A.M., Janelle Monáe, The Internet and Esperanza Spalding. In addition to music video content, she has also written and directed commercial spots for brands like CoverGirl, Pantene, Coca-Cola, and more recently Hillary for America (HFA).
Lacey’s signature aesthetic, knack for fostering organic performances, and affinity for counter-culture has allowed her to capture narrative and beauty with an edgy sensibility. On days off, Lacey enjoys eating, rescuing kittens, and talking for long periods of time to anybody who will listen.
