After training and working at the BBC’s Ealing Film Studios in London, Katie went freelance as an AC and then became a DP.

She started shooting music videos, the work was fresh and exciting, a chance to push boundaries technically and have fun. During this time she also shot many short films, progressing to TV drama and dramatized documentaries. She continues to shoot and direct commercials, specialising in food and tabletop, working for a range of clients such as Oreo, Carte D’or, Waitrose, John Lewis, Bombay Gin, Huawei and Rachels Yogurt. She works regularly in Europe as well as the UK.
