Karine Faou is half of the directing animation duo, Tundra. They are extremely versatile, working across a wide range of media with a focus on animation, film and illustration. Tundra* create solutions that organically mix contemporary digital and traditional handcrafted techniques in refreshing and innovative ways. They have won numerous awards, including Gold at the prestigious Promax Awards UK for their handcrafted ITV idents and their animated short film for the World Wildlife Fund won two Silvers at this year’s Cannes Lions. They have also been nominated at the Oscars for Best Animated Feature with their film of Monty Python Member Graham Chapman – “A Liar’s Autobiography”. Tundra* have crafted work for ITV, Mulberry, Revlon, Pringles, Alexander McQueen and Nissan among many others. Although from French origin, Karine is currently spends her time between Norway and London.
