Kailee McGee is an award-winning artist, filmmaker, and writer. She makes content for screens of all sizes. Her work frequently blurs the line between reality and fiction and life and art.

Kailee has directed music videos, short films, digital new media pieces, and written/produced/directed two feature films. She has also created standout video content for networks, brands, and entertainment marketing campaigns for clients including A24, Mattel, Toca Boca, Sesame Street, Focus Features, ESPN, Netflix, E!, Travel Channel, and Sony. She is a contributor to The Creative Independent, a non-profit digital magazine for creatives. Currently, Kailee is directing and producing a digital series for HGTV’s upcoming show A Very Brady Renovation in addition to  developing her own episodic series, a narrative VR series, and a new feature film.

Kailee grew up in Laguna Beach, California. Her first job, as an eight year old, was in fine art sales — selling her mother’s oil paintings every summer at the Sawdust Art Festival. Success in sales made her a skilled people profiler, which led to a fascination with human beings and storytelling. Kailee is a New York University Tisch School of the Arts alumna and a proud member of the Alliance of Women Directors.
