Jessie Hill
Jessie Hill creates entrancing worlds filled with uniquely captivating visuals and compelling narratives – illustrating original ideas with a sense of magical realism and a surreal aesthetic.
Jessie’s artistic style first expressed itself in the world of fashion where she created avant-garde designs and founded her own label; Her successful fashion career culminated in runway shows in New York, Berlin, London and Sydney.
Jessie commenced her film directing career with a shoot for Vogue, followed by a series of music videos for the award-winning duo, Angus and Julia Stone.
Following these films, Jessie worked with various producers, artists and brands such as Rick Rubin, Chris Cornell, Benjamin Biolay, Zak Starkey (The Who), Broods, Hey Violet and NYX Cosmetics. She also directed contestant biography clips for “The Voice” (USA) and a fashion documentary for the “Rag and Bone” label, with a music score by Thom Yorke.
Jessie is a passionate supporter of women in the arts and is a contributor to the New York Art collective, Damarosa, which promotes and encourages female artists in all creative fields.
