Paris-based director Fleur Fortuné is known for having created hugely iconic films. After her early stint as an art director for fashion and H5 collective, Fleur teamed up with co-director Manu Cossu, as the directing duo Fleur&Manu.
In the following years, Fleur signed music videos for the likes of M83, Skrillex, and Drake. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including six D&AD Yellow Pencils, and five Art Directors Club Awards. Inspired by Mangas, European experimental cinema and conceptual challenging projects, her unique visual style and wild imagination quickly caught the eye of a number of major brands, including Apple, Nike, Facebook, Audi, Chloe, Armani. Most recently, she directed the Ad campaign for Chanel’s capsule collection for Pharrell.
Fleur’s next milestone is a natural evolution from her first steps into narrative music videos with the visionary M83’s trilogy and her latest shorts films such as Dream Thieves and Birds in the Trap. Fleur directed the latter for iconic rap artist Travis Scott—a 15 minutes drama set in Detroit that depicts a tragic accident dramatically changing Travis’ life, taking him into a surreal journey through time and into life after death.
Currently, she is now working on developing her own feature film with the independent producer of “RAW”, Jean des Forêts (PETIT FILM), in parallel of the development of a philosophical anticipation feature produced by NUMBER 9 and FILM 4.
