Emma is a director and writer based in London. Her work is influenced by the ten years she spent as a fashion photographer and her degree in Fine Art. All Emma’s films feature truthful characters and stories that are often laced with humour.

Emma has made branded content for Barclays, Dior, #HeForShe, Refinery 29, Ritz Carlton, Liz Earle and others. She is skilled at working with performers and non-performers of all kinds be they athletes or actors, influencers or kids.

Her first short documentary, Hell on Wheels, premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest in 2016 and featured the women of roller derby team London Rockin’ Rollers. Passionate about physical movement of all kinds, Emma wrote, directed and produced a dance short, SWARM, which has played internationally on the festival circuit. Highlights include Aesthetica and Underwire in the UK, FFS in Australia and Hamilton Film Festival in Canada. It was awarded Outstanding Choreography/Performance by Light Moves Festival of Screendance in Ireland.

Emma’s comedic script about female friendship was recently selected from 500 entries as part of The Stay project sponsored by Ritz Carlton and produced by Hearst. She directed the resulting short, 100%, in UAE in 2018. Lensed by Kate Reid BSC, it has just been released online on Hearst’s Harper’s Bazaar website.
