Growing up in Ohio, Krudy first explored storytelling through poetry writing and making movies with her two sisters using her father’s home video camera. Krudy later majored in Film Studies at Wesleyan University before going on to New York City where she worked as a service tech at Technological Cinevideo Services while working as a non-union camera assistant on indie projects. Krudy eventually went on to work as the assistant to Matthew Libatique, ASC on films such as Black Swan and Cowboys & Aliens. Krudy then worked at Annapurna Pictures as a reader for Producer Megan Ellison and then as the company’s Creative Researcher, working with directors including Bennett Miller, David O. Russell and Angela Robinson on their feature and television projects. 

Krudy wrote the interactive series, “#WarGames,” created by Sam Barlow and produced by Eko and MGM and she has directed and created for Refinery29, ATTN: and SuperDeluxe. Blow the Man Down, Krudy’s first feature, which she co-wrote and co-directed with Bridget Savage Cole, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2019. The film stars Margo Martindale, June Squibb, Morgan Saylor, and Sophie Lowe and was awarded the festival’s prize for Best Narrative Screenplay. Krudy & Savage Cole are currently developing future feature and series projects.
