Courtney has spent the last decade working in Costume Design for features and commercials. Her recent credits include Baby Driver, The Hateful Eight, and Captain Fantastic. Her most recent commercial design credits include Thank you, Mom, directed by Alma Har’el; TurboTax, directed by Ivan Zachariah; and Redd’s Apple Ale, directed by Erich Joiner.

She transitioned to directing as part of the AFI Women’s Directing Workshop where she made her directorial debut “The Good Time Girls”. The film made waves when it was released as part of Refinery 29’s Shatterbox Anthology and caught the attention from industry heavy hitters. In addition to the feature adaptation of The Good Time Girls, Courtney has features in development with Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, and J.J. Abrams.
