Clara Aranovich is the daughter of an Argentine physicist and a Chilean market researcher/author, though she was raised in NorCal. She holds a BA from Dartmouth in Literature/Creative Writing and an MFA from USC in Film Production.
She is the first woman to ever direct for MLB, and said collaboration went on to win various Clios and an Bronze Lion. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she works comfortably across the General and Hispanic markets.
Clara is known for her technical and narrative prowess, as well as her love for getting her hands dirty and traveling to odd places around the world to get the shot. She loves outdoor rec/sports, cars, dark surrealism, and creamy peanut butter. When not writing or on set, she can usually be found on a mountain somewhere or volunteering at a women’s clinic outside of LA. She is also a certified Wilderness First Responder.
