Chalkley Calderwood is a Brooklyn based filmmaker and director whose philosophy is that brand-building is best achieved through engaging stories that are authentic, memorable and visually compelling. After working as an award winning creative director with media brands such as National Geographic, Conde Nast, Meredith and Hearst, Chalkley pivoted to filmmaking, bringing her editorial storytelling experience into motion. She has worked to produce, shoot, and edit video content for brands such as Maven, Freshly, Space for Arts, Factr, Budget Travel and Tourism Ireland. She also specializes in creating video content for boutique hotels.
Trained at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, England, her documentary films have been chosen to screen at festivals in the U.S. and the U.K., including:
