Candice is a Writer/Director, and all around Creative Thinker, hailing from the small parish of St Ann, Jamaica. Having grown up in three different countries (Jamaica, US, and Germany) gave her a uniquely diverse experience and outlook on humans as subjects, which sparked her interest in storytelling.

Candice’s award winning short film, Make America Great?, which she wrote, directed, and produced screened in festivals world-wide, winning the Audience Award for Best Short at the Zero Film Festival and The National Black Film Festival, with write-ups appearing in The Hollywood Reporter, Decider.com, and other publications. Decider writes, “There are moments so emotionally charged and genuine in this film that it can be hard to watch, but it’s absolutely necessary. Powerfully acted, beautifully shot, and eerily pertinent to the world we are living in, this is exactly the kind of short film needed right now”.

In the content space Candice has also directed The Dream Still Lives, a tribute video by Stevie Wonder & CAA, for Martin Luther King Jr’s 50th anniversary of his passing, starring various celebrities such as Stevie Wonder, Common, Meryl Streep, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, and many more. The video has garnered over 1 billion impressions to date.

Candice is currently in development for her first feature film More Alive, penning the first season of her web series, Finding Jane, and other short form projects in development. Creating stirring and engaging narrative content is a love of hers and is evident in all of her work and partnerships to date. She looks forward to creating thought provoking and entertaining content on all screens.
