Talia Osteen
Talia Osteen has written and performed as a singer-songwriter and composer, as well as half of the duo The Wellspring. As a band, they’ve released 5 albums (indie pop/folk/rock), toured the country opening for Pete Yorn and Ben Kweller, and have had their music placed in shows like House, M.D., Cougar Town and Orange is the New Black.
Before founding The Wellspring, Talia had worked as VP of Production and Development at Overnight Productions (Black Swan, Machete, The Lucky Ones) in New York, so when given the opportunity to score the music for a feature film, Coffee Town, she found it the perfect marriage of her love of cinema and music. She and her partner in The Wellspring, Dov Rosenblatt, have since gone on to compose the music for feature comedy, Slow Learners (Netflix/IFC) and Bravo’s dramatic TV series, Imposters.
She enjoys the wide range of musical styles she’s able to explore in composing for different characters, themes and genres. Talia’s excited to utilize her knack for hooks and catchy melodies compose and write songs in the advertising arena – getting to convey a feeling and to tell a story about a brand in a brief snippet of time.
