A classical pianist, cellist and vocalist, Kibby grew up in the theater. After attending the Lycée Français, a gap year post-high school led to a 7 year journey as a member of M83, during which Kibby wrote, sang and played keys on two albums and tour cycles, culminating in her first platinum single “Midnight City”, a Grammy nomination and headlining the Hollywood Bowl.
A writer, producer and performer, Kibby co-wrote with Panic! at the Disco on two platinum and Grammy nominated albums, released solo material under the moniker White Sea, remixed over 20 tracks from Lorde to The Weeknd and sang on trailers for “Harry Potter” and “Lady In the Water”.
In 2015 Kibby scored her first feature, the critically acclaimed French film “Bang Gang” which premiered in the new Platform series at TIFF and garnered the Best Original Score Award at Les Arcs European Film Festival.
Alumna of the 2016 Sundance Composer Lab at Skywalker Ranch, Kibby has contributed score and sound design to installations at MOCA in L.A., scored T.V. shows for Amazon, National Geographic and Warner Brothers, and scored films in competition at Cannes 2018, Emmy nominated documentaries and Hulu to name a few.
