Marie-Anne Fischer is a composer, writing music in a wide variety of projects for film, television and RPG fantasy (game) music.
Recent work includes scoring ‘The Power Of One Coin’ a short award winning drama, and also a video documentary short, ‘Beyond Closed Doors’.
Her music has been published by ‘The Library of the Human Soul’, ‘Gothic Storm Music’, ‘Minim’, ’Lovely Music’ and ‘Synctracks’ spanning from cinematic, world, electronic, orchestral, contemporary, ambient to creating emotional pieces which have been recorded by live strings from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Vienna Session Orchestra. Her music has been placed and broadcast worldwide, examples are, the BBC, SABC, TF1, Canal+, National Geographic and Discovery television Channels.
Marie-Anne has been a member of several sample library developer teams of composers and beta testers, she has written demos, scoring video promos, beta testing and video walk throughs. Significant amongst these are Sonokinetic, Soundiron, Gothic Instruments, Strezov Sampling, Realitone, and Cripto Cipher.
As a media composer, Marie-Anne is able to create music in many different genres, both a strength and source of personal enjoyment. She draws inspiration from a wide base of people, art, music, film and nature and reflect it back in her music.
Marie-Anne earned a Diploma in Media Composition and subsequently also completed a course in Cinematic Orchestration through ThinkSpace Education. She is a firm believer in the importance of continuous learning and has attended several master classes.
Marie-Anne believes that it is important to maintain a broad and strong network of music related recourse, all over the world, in order to be able to succeed with projects of all sizes. Marie-Anne is currently also Director of SCOREcast Global community, which affords her the opportunity to communicate and expand her knowledge and is an active member of BASCA, WFTV and BAFTA Crew.
