Lydia Davies is a classically trained pianist who started her musical journey at the age of three. She studied at the Yamaha Music School, and at age seven, received a scholarship to Melbourne Girls Grammar for exceptional piano and composition talent.
She completed further studies at Berklee College of Music Boston, she then took up various work experience and internship positions in America before being offered a full-time composer role with acclaimed music and sound house, Nylon Studios.
Lydia has already had many great achievements- she scored the film trailer f tor the blockbuster feature film Wonder Woman, which in 2017 won her a Golden Globe Trailer Award in Los Angeles in two categories – Best Fantasy/Adventure & Overall Best Trailer. Lydia was acknowledged in the best global top five commercials for the week for Allstate Foundation’s campaign ‘Lost Purse’ and her music can also be heard in the original official movie trailer for Beauty & The Beast, Law & Order; The Mendez Brothers Murder, The Mummy. She has also recently composed the theme music for a new Documentary “Big Cat Legacy”, and is nearing completion of her first feature film.
