Katarina Holmberg, aka Tigerlight, is a composer, producer, singer and voice over artist.

Born in Finland raised as a Finnish-Swedish Brit via Berlin she graduated from Southampton University with a first-class degree in Music where she studied classical and jazz focusing on composition and performance.

She releases dance music records both as a producer and vocalist under her alias Tigerlight. With this project she has performed across Europe and the USA and has had millions of online hits and radio play via labels like ‘Ministry of Sound’, ‘Universal’ and her own imprint Tigerlight Musik.

Alongside her dance productions she composes music for film and TV. She wrote the end credits theme for the award winning documentary ‘Return to Homs’ which was chosen to open the Amsterdam Documentary Film Festival and has gone on to win many festival awards including the ‘World Cinema Award’ at Sundance in the US where she was a featured ASCAP composer. She wrote the full soundtracks to Kurdistan Dream or Reality and Generation Jihad, shown initially on Arte, then aired worldwide.
