Julia Piker is a composer, songwriter, and producer. Her film credits include Unbanned: The Legend of AJ1; starring Michael Jordan, Lena Waithe, and Mark Wahlberg, and To Dust; starring Mathew Broderick. Julia is also an accomplished advertising composer at Pulse Music, having scored commercials for brands such as AT&T, Charmin, IBM, and Lexus. Her recent score for Proctor and Gamble’s ‘The Talk’ won her a London International Award for Original Music. ‘The Talk’ was also recently awarded a Primetime Emmy ®  for “Outstanding Commercial”.

Julia was born in Brooklyn, NY. After completing her Bachelors in Amherst, Massachusetts in 2013, Julia returned home to New York City and began working in music right away. Her interest and skills in engineering began to develop at companies such as Audio Engine and Shout It Out Loud Music. Once she joined Pulse Music in 2015, she quickly grew her engineering chops by learning from fellow composers and now self produces most of her own commercials and songs. A good day is spent hunkered down in her studio, crafting tunes in just about any genre that a client may need or concocting her own soulful, folk-pop anthems.
