Winning the Diamond Award for Best Score at the NYC Film Awards in 2015 was another inspiration for film composer Barbara J Weber. Who, after years of being an accomplished violinist (Juilliard Graduate) and performing with numerous top tier orchestras under the batons of world renowned conductors: James Colon, Jose Serebrier, Isaiah Jackson, Seymour Lipkin among many others; began her foray into composing for film. The very first film she scored, a full feature, “Let Me Out” directed by David Feldman, won for “Best Psychological Drama”, at The New York International Film and Video Festival, 2009.

Barbara has since scored music to over 30 films which  have appeared in numerous festivals throughout the United States and Europe (Cannes in 2012). She also received best score nominations for “Baggage” (Macabre Faire Film Festival,2012) and her score for “Once, When I Was Dead” was also nominated for best original score at the FANtastic Film Festival,2015.
