Annie’s music has been featured on Disney XD, Nickelodeon, ESPN, and The Cartoon Network. As an additional music composer, her music can be heard in The Lego Ninjago Movie, select Primetime TV movies, and other major motion pictures. Her mockup work includes Ready Player One, Marvel: Infinity War, and The Orville. As a music copyist, she has worked a wide variety of films such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi, La La Land, and Disney’s upcoming Mary Poppins Returns. She was a scoring intern for James Newton Howard on Mockingjay: Part 2, and Concussion in the summer of 2016.
In May 2017, she was awarded the “Best Musical Score” prize in the Los Angeles Live Film Scoring Festival for Jessica Chung’s animation, Sushi Man. In 2016, she scored the Emmy-nominated short film, The Pacific Soldier. Her collaboration on USC animation alum Yizhou Li’s, Nice To Meeteor You, was nominated at the 2016 Annie Awards for “Best Student Film”.
Annie was a participant in the prestigious ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis (2018). She is the recipient of the David Rose Award and will be honored at the ASCAP Foundation Awards Ceremony in December 2018. She is a graduate of the SMPTV program at the University of Southern California (2015,) where she was privileged to be mentored by James Newton Howard. She is the recipient of the ASCAP Foundation Betty Rose Scholarship, Women in Music Scholarship, and a BYU School of Music Scholarship. She received her Bachelor of Music from BYU in 2009 in Media Music.
