Allie received theatrical training from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and musical training from Berklee College of Music, where she studied songwriting and vocal performance. For six years she studied classical piano, and continues to play both piano and guitar. She began vocal lessons in Dallas, TX under Amy Seltzer (Blue October, Drowning Pool), and received further training from audition coach, Mary Anna Dennard, and composer, Steven Lutvak (A Gentleman’s Guide To Love and Murder). She trained at NYU’s Playwrights Horizons Theatre School under Dan Safer (Witness Relocation), Mike Mikos (Animals), Elizabeth Hess (Love Trade, Metamorphoses), Deb O, and Salty Brine (The Living Record Collection). At Berklee she participated in jazz and country ensembles, attended workshops hosted by Kenny Werner (Effortless Mastery), and sang in improvisatory vocal workshops hosted by Diane Richardson. Lately Allie’s been working on an EP with producer Jeremy McDonald in Brooklyn at Mason Jar Music (Feist, Alicia Keys, Lake Street Dive, Sarah Jarosz, Big Thief). Past collaborations include: Eric Harvey (Spoon), Middle Space Dance, Bee Caves, Zuni Mountain Boys. She has performed at SXSW, KXT Austin, NYU, Berklee, Columbia University, and venues across the country, both as a solo act and in collaboration with bands.
