Alison is a music composer, producer & sound designer who grew up on Cockatoo Island in Sydney harbor. Alison studied Classical music (piano) and specialized in ethnomusicology at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, but always had her eye on electronic/dance music, remixing and production. It was a natural progression for Alison to evolve her composition & production skills and move into film, TV and multi-media composition. 

Alison demonstrates a unique and extensive creative and technical skillset in composition, sound design, arrangement and music/sound production. Alison’s true passion is telling stories with music & sound.

Alison’s produced, performed and toured globally with ARIA Award winning bands (Severed Heads, Boxcar) and has extensive composition and production experience across all media formats: TV series, film, VR/Experiential (China 2018), audio & visual installations (Vivid 2015/Burning Man 2018) and all areas of the media industry, including advertising, TVC and TV Channel branding campaigns.

 Alison has scored soundtracks for Berlin International Film Festival Award winning ‘The Wilding’, Cannes/Tropfest award winning ’Still Life’, PromaxBDA ANZ Gold award winning campaigns ‘Embarrassing Bodies’, World Promax Gold winning ‘Lifestyle Channel’ & ’SBS World Movies’. Alison was B&T’s WIM ‘People’s Choice’ in 2017.

 Alison is an active songwriter & pop music producer.
