Sofie Borup had already developed relationships with talented filmmakers as a major colorist in her native Copenhagen and throughout Europe prior to joining Company 3 in 2013 in LA. Now working out of the company’s New York studio, she continues to mass impressive credits include major feature films — including Disney hit Christopher Robin, the highly acclaimed Swiss Army Man and Julianne Moore drama Bel Canto – and visionary spots, including the inspirational “Get a Job” for Mercedes-Benz, “Secretariat” for Audi, which juxtaposes stock and new footage in a powerful way and the powerful AICE-Award-Winning/Emmy-Nominated “The Talk — Black is Beautiful” for P&G.

Sofie has also brought her unique perspective to a slew of music videos for artists such as Kanye West (“Fade”), Selena Gomez (“Fetish”) and Feist (“The Bad in Each Other”) and popular, highly-acclaimed series, such as Power and Black Sails, both for Starz!

Sofie always enjoys collaborating with women filmmakers, such as artist/director Petra Collins, director/DP Daisy Zhou, writer/director Becca Gleason and director Dee Rees.
