Monica does color at EFILM, a boutique post house in Hollywood.
A San Diego native, Monica edited and colored student films at San Diego State University, graduating with a B.S in Film Production. Aside from imagery, her background in theatre helped to develop her collaborative capability for storytelling, extending into the grading suite today.
Monica has worked across multiple platforms, from narrative shorts to television and commercial brands including McDonalds, H&M, Intel, Le Tote, Juice Beauty, The General, Pampers, Mr. Cooper, NewDay USA, Madison Reed, Romper x Babybel and Ever.
She has been recognized as a Young Entertainment Professional by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers and is an intersectional advocate for women in key creative Post Production roles. Projects she has finished have won recognition at Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, Culver City Film Festival, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles and HollyShorts. Monica enjoys traveling to gain fresh perspectives on how others see the world- an essential component to the storytelling process.
