Chicago native, Jen Ruvalcaba, started her career in Post Production in 2007 as an Assistant Online Editor at Post Production Inc. (formerly SonicPool) in Los Angeles. Being apart of a boutique post house gave Jen the perfect opportunity to grow and refine her finishing skills, both technically and creatively. She quickly moved up to Online Editor and, shortly after, Colorist, working on a wide range of projects including promos, sports specials, documentaries, feature films. reality &
scripted series.

She has successfully delivered content to such networks as TLC, Animal Planet, Destination America, Discovery, ESPN, NBC Sports, CNBC, Disney, ABC, A&E, HGTV, Lifetime, OWN, BET, MTV, VH1, SyFy, Spike, USA, FXX, Freeform, HBO, Showtime, Netflix and Amazon.

Her work as Lead Colorist include such series as I Am Jazz (TLC), Little Life On The Prairie (TLC), Tales of Titans (FunnyOrDie), Project Grizzly (Animal Planet) Shotgun (NBC Sports), #TheWestbrooks (BET), The West Texas Investors Club (CNBC), Alaska Monsters (Destination America), The Profit (CNBC), Pitbulls & Parolees (Animal Planet) and Home Made Simple (OWN).

Currently, Jen is part of the team at Periscope Post & Audio Los Angeles, with availability at both Los Angeles and Chicago locations.
