Eva Pomposo was born in Venezuela and moved to Catalonia at the age of thirteen where she developed a taste for pictures from a very young age. After living four years in Edinburgh, she moved to Melbourne, Australia where she studied photography at TAFE, and it was during that time that Eva decided that she wanted to work on moving pictures. In London, she went to Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication where she specialized in Post Production and got a first taste at colour grading when Kevin Shaw came to do a demonstration of the the university’s newly acquired Film Master.
She started working at The Moving Picture Company in London and after going through all the relevant departments, Eva became a colourist and made it to the list of “14 Up and Coming Colourists in London” compiled by Little Black Book in 2015.
After having a brief taste of working at the MPC’s office in Mexico City, Eva decided that she wanted to spend more time there, so she went back and now is freelance.
Eva has worked on campaigns for Adidas Palace, Iceland Supermarket, McDonald’s, Peugeot to name a few. Music Videos for Clean Bandit, Chainsmokers, Asgeir, Noel Gallagher. Short and long features as well as documentaries. More recently she finished grading Hugo Sanchez, a spin of Club The Cuervos for Netflix in Mexico.
