Megan Park is a Canadian born actress, known for her critically acclaimed, award winning roles in numerous hit television series and feature films including Aaron Sorkin’s “The Newsroom”, “Central Intelligence” with Kevin Hart and The Rock and “Charlie Bartlett” with Robert Downey Jr. Megan was awarded TIFF’s “Rising Star” award for her role in “What If” which she starred alongside Daniel Radcliff and Zoe Kazan. She is most known for starring on six seasons of the ABC Family hit show “The Secret Life Of the American Teenager” for which she won a People’s Choice Award and Teen Choice Award.
Park’s directorial debut was in 2016 when she wrote and directed the short film, “Lucy In My Eyes” which premiered at the 2017 Austin Film Festival and won the Grand Jury Prize for “Best Short”. The film is now currently in contention for an Academy Award nomination. The film is still playing at festivals all over the world and has continued to win many awards including several for “Best Director”. Megan recently wrote a pilot which was bought by CBS studios and is writing a feature film at New Line/Warner Brothers studio with Shailene Woodley attached to star in.
She recently co-wrote and co-directed a web series titled “We’re Adults Now” with Canadian writer Katie Boland. Megan also works as a director for Prettybird in LA and the UK and has directed several music videos which have grossed upwards of 50 million views for artists such as, Mike Posner, Blackbear, Gucci Mane, and Billie Eilish.
As an actress, Megan has two feature films and several projects in production slated for a 2018 release. She is attached to director her feature debut and has numerous other writing and directing projects in development.
