Free the Bid’s work to raise awareness and transparency of the issue has motivated us to help change the stats. For us, it is not about filling a quota by giving opportunity to female directors regardless of talent, it is about the extra push to discover the best female directors in the industry.

Since CP+B pledged to Free The Bid, we have increased the amount of jobs directed by female talent by 400%. Of our jobs that required triple bidding, 20% were awarded to women.

We have worked with amazing directors on our last two projects for 1800 TequilaFleur Fortuné helmed the “Hands” spots, our launch for the brand, and we just wrapped a shoot with Autumn de Wilde. We loved working with Ayse Altinok on a series of videos for Jose Cuervo, and JJ Adler had us all laughing watching the Breathsavers spots she directed. All this content was held to our highest standards and delivered with brilliant female execution.”
